Now that I am left with only 10 weeks of school left I could feel the pressure even more. At this point I have not completed my senior exit interview. What I am doing is to really get prepared for it since I will be presenting on April 6. I am planning to pass the first time this way I will not have to worry about this anymore. That way I will be able to concentrate more on all of my classes. In order to achieve this I am getting myself well prepared by completing my website and practicing my presentation. I have to be honest, this will not be easy for me since I am a person that is not very good at presenting in front of people. I have set my mind to the idea that I have to be able to do so in order for me to pass and not get nervous while presenting in front of the panelists. Another thing is that I will also focus on getting everything done on time so that I am able to walk in the ceremony. I really look forward to this because now I will be the second person in my family to graduate from high school. This will be a great experience to me because that way I will not only make my family proud of me, but I will also feel very well with myself after knowing that I went through many obstacles to achieve one of my goals. Graduating would be the first step into achieving my main goal which is to get a career in the medical field. I would love to become a RN. That is what I’ve dreamed of my entire life. Some of my post high school plans are to get a part time job as a CNA since I am currently involved in the program to get the state certificate. While working I have also planned to go to college to obtain my associates degree. After achieving that in a community college I would transfer to fresno state and then work twice as hard to obtain my bachelor’s in the RN program. These are my main post high school plans, but if I find myself in a position where I can’t go on in getting an education then I would stay working as a CNA. This will also be great for me because being part of the nursing assistant training program I have noticed that I love that job not mattering the fact that it is not a very high salary. The thing that matters to me is that I enjoy it and it is also not a very bad salary where I wouldn’t be able to live on. So I will keep on doing my best in school in order to graduate and also pass the state boards exam for the NATP in May. I will prepare myself for that test and I strongly believe in myself that I will be one of those students that will pass the exam.
